Le 12 juillet dernier, Dr Stéphane P. Lemay a été nommé directeur scientifique de l’IRDA. Stéphane P. Lemay était auparavant chercheur en génie agroenvironnemental à l’IRDA. Il y a consacré plusieurs années de recherche dans les domaines du contrôle de la ventilation, de la qualité de l’air et des émissions des bâtiments agricoles. L’IRDA est une corporation de recherche à but non lucratif, qui a pour mission de réaliser des activités d’acquisition de connaissances, de recherche, de développement et de transfert visant à favoriser le développement durable de l’agriculture. Elle constitue un chef de file en agroenvironnement qui sait anticiper les problèmes et accélérer le développement et l’adoption de solutions répondant aux besoins des agriculteurs et de la société.
On July 12, Dr. Stéphane P. Lemay was appointed scientific director of IRDA. Before this appointment, Dr. Lemay was a research scientist in agri-environment engineering with IRDA. During that time, he was involved in the areas of the ventilation control, air quality and emissions of agricultural buildings. The Research and Development Institute for the Agri-Environment (IRDA - Institut de recherche et de développement en agroenvironnement) is a non-profit research corporation whose mission is to conduct knowledge acquisition, research, development and transfer activities, with the goal of contributing to the sustainable development of agriculture. IRDA is a leader in agri-environment that is able to anticipate problems, and accelerate the development and the implementation of solutions corresponding to the needs of farmers and of society.
