The Armand BLANC prize is awarded to students and young members under 30 years of age for presenting excellent papers at a CIGR World Congress. This award commemorates Prof. Armand Blanc, former Head of the Institut National Agronomique, Paris, France who was President of CIGR from 1950 to 1962. A review committee will evaluate full-length papers submitted by participants who are less than 30 years of age as of January 1, 2010 (born since January 1, 1980). For the upcoming 17th CIGR World Congress in Quebec City, young members are invited to fill out and submit the form below to confirm their interest in participating in the competition for the Armand BLANC prize. Besides the age requirement, participants are required to have uploaded a full-length paper by the deadline (February 20, 2010) on the official template. They are also expected to be pre-registered as all other presenters to confirm their participation. The evaluation is based on the quality of the written paper. The prize is available independently of the format presentation at the Congress (oral or poster). Yes, I am interested in participating in the competition for the Armand BLANC prize. |
