Extended deadline of Call for Papers; general instructions on papers PDF Print E-mail

The General Call for Papers has been extended until December 15, 2009.  More than 800 abstracts were submitted by the regular deadline of November 20.  By extending the deadline, the Scientific Committee is providing an opportunity for some Technical Tracks to increase the number of papers in some specialized areas.

Authors can therefore continue to submit abstracts in all Technical Tracks except the International Drainage Symposium.  The deadline for IDS was earlier (October 2, 2009) and presenters in IDS are expected to write full-length papers by December 15, 2009.

Presenters in all other Technical Tracks are also invited to write full-length papers and submit them by February 20, 2010.  The minimum length of a full paper is the abstract (<250 words in the final version); the maximum length is 10 pages.  Authors should download the paper template, complete it appropriately and upload their final paper on the web site.  The template can be downloaded at the following link:

Authors are reminded that they will have to pre-register by February 25, 2010 for their proposals to remain on the oral program.  The pre-registration requirement deadline is April 1, 2010 for proposals to remain on the poster program.
